Choose Cease if

Cease may fit better if you want an available app that combines counting with guided routines, reminders, journaling, exercises and accountability with a buddy.

Consider OffPuff's beta if

OffPuff's planned fit is narrower: fast logging, clear views of your own data and access to basic tracking without a trial cutoff. It is for someone who does not want a social layer, exercises or a generated routine inside the tracker.

Do not treat feature count as the answer

Cease currently lists more intervention-style features. OffPuff intentionally plans fewer kinds of features. The useful question is whether you want guidance inside the app or a tool that stays focused on recording and reviewing your own logs.

Neither this comparison nor OffPuff offers medical guidance. OffPuff's product is not available yet, and its planned feature set can change before release.
